How we started
Gravitational Pull Records, started and founded by 22 year old CEO I.M.M. in late 1996. I.M.M. always wanted to promote, distribute, and sign not only talented artists in his area, but to give them their own personal voice and creativity. "The difference from our record label from any other, is that we give artists 100% freedom to do THEIR music THEIR way. We are an independent hiphop record label that not only strives to release quality albums and artists, but to give the artists themselves freedom to reach fans the best way they can, by being themselves." (I.M.M.) I.M.M. is not only a respected business man, he is also a producer/musician himself. After observing numerous major labels use artists to pay their own deep pockets, I.M.M. wanted to give hungry artists their own opportunity to shine and do what they do best. Our mission is not to become a major label giant, but to remain small and to keep our family type atmosphere with not only our employees, but the artists as well.
